Assignment #6: White Balance
Choose a subject that can easily be moved, is opaque and has white on it.
1. Photograph your subject inside under either tungsten or fluorescent light as the main light.
2. Photograph your subject outside with natural light as the main light source.
3. Upload all images to your H: drive.

1. Photograph your subject inside under either tungsten or fluorescent light as the main light.
- Use AWB when making your exposure
- Match your white balance to the light source and make a 2nd exposure
- Make a 3rd exposure using another preset White Balance Setting
- Bring all three images in order

3. Upload all images to your H: drive.
- Create a new folder titled “June5_WhiteBalance_Mini”
- Create 2 folders within this one: “Originals” and “Edited”
- Upload your new photos the “Originals” folder within a new folder
- Write a brief 100-150 word summary describing what you noticed. You may wish to describe the use of White Balance, to describe your choices of subjects/scenes.
- This should be posted to your blog along with a photograph you took.
